Our names are Lea Meier and Tanja Lais and we just moved to Dublin this summer. In Germany we finished our A-level exams and we will now work here as volunteers for about eleven months for the Cheshire organisation, which cares for physically disabled people. The project we’re involved in is called “Independent living” and insists of visiting disabled, who have their own appartment in Dublin. There we spend some time with them, help with daily tasks and just try to arrange a more interesting everyday life for them. In Germany we already met each other at a preparation seminar and luckily we now live together
